Pick what matters
Your kid chooses something they actually care about.
For parents of kids ages 8–17
A 12-week program for parents of kids ages 8–17 where your kid builds a real project with AI, you build it with them in one weekly family meeting, and we provide the agenda, tools, and path.
How it works
We bring the agenda, tools, and path. Your family brings the curiosity.
Your kid chooses something they actually care about.
Each week they build with AI; your family meets to review and steer.
In 12 weeks: a game, tool, app, or maybe a first sale.
The projects
Real projects from our own kids — finished, half-finished, and gloriously abandoned. That’s what learning to build looks like.
A browser extension that flags misinformation patterns and prompts more critical reading.
A guided tool for comparing options, probabilities, and the outcomes that matter.
A learning platform with profiles, goals, credit tracking, and student portfolios.
A concept for personalized learning paths built around a kid’s real interests.
A local family finance app for recording and reviewing everyday expenses.
A game where clipping, lag, and perspective glitches become the mechanics.
A pixel-art tower climber with combat, progression, and custom sprite tools.
A restaurant inventory AI for restock, waste, and daily-special recommendations.
A math practice game he made for his 9-year-old little sister.
A marketplace where people own, recolor, and trade pixels in shared art.
A platform runner with portals, coins, phase powers, and random glitches.
A collection of 100 clean jokes with shuffle, favorites, and sharing.
A browser dungeon game that became the first draft of A Knight’s Quest.
A three-scene game adaptation of the novel, explored across three prototypes.
A personal ledger with accounts, dashboard summaries, expenses, and categories.
A turn-based browser battle with familiar creatures, moves, and matchups.
Why we’re doing this
AI may be the most creative tool ever put in a kid’s hands, but most kids only use it to consume or get answers. We’ve watched ours use it to turn ideas into apps, games, and tools they can actually share. Building together has given us a new way to know them — and brought us closer as a family. Raised to Build grew from that weekly rhythm. Now we’re developing the program so other families can make it their own.
What’s coming
A clear beginning, middle, and finish.
One practical family rhythm each week.

Tools and prompts that keep ideas moving.
In development — waitlist families shape it and get first invitations.

Join the waitlist and we’ll invite founding families first.
A few good questions
No. Curiosity and an idea are enough.
No — we guide you through the tools and each weekly meeting.
No — it can be a game, tool, app, or story-world. Real is the bar, not revenue.
The first families begin this fall. The waitlist hears first.
